BIOGRAPHY

Judge Tucker was born in Graham, Texas on the 11th of November 1943.  He attended Roswell Public Schools and graduated in 1962 from Roswell High School.  He graduated in 1963 from Fort Worth College in Fort Worth, Texas (computer trade school).  He attended Eastern New Mexico University - Roswell.   Judge Tucker was employed as Assistant Vice President of Southwest Bank & Trust Co. until 1974 when he entered the family real estate and property management business.   He was appointed Magistrate Judge by Governor Bruce King in 1993 and served on the Bench until 1995.  He was appointed Alternate Municipal Judge in 1996, and continues to hold this position.

Judge Tucker is married to Phyllis.  They have four children and five granddaughters and one grandson.

Judge Tucker is past President of the American Business Club and Past President of the Noon Optimist Club of Roswell.  He is a Former Board member of the Boys Club of Roswell, a Lifetime Member of International Order of Demolay and a Life Member of Optimist International.  He is a Member of the Hondo Lodge #74 AF&AM Roswell.  He is a volunteer on the Chaves County Teen Court and Former Member of Chaves County DWI Planning Board.  He is a Certified Judge and a Board Member of Habitat for Humanity of Roswell.  He is also a member of The First Baptist Church of Roswell.
