Bond Election Results

1. SOUTH PARK CEMETERY BOND QUESTION

Shall the City of Roswell, New Mexico,be authorized to issue its general obligation bonds, in one series or more, in an amount not exceeding $900,000 for the purpose of improving, rehabilitating and remodeling South Park Cemetery (a City owned public cemetery), said bonds to be paid from general (ad valorem) taxes (except to the extent other monies are available therefor) and to bear interest and mature and to be issued upon such terms and conditions as the City Council may determine?

2. A.D.A. PUBLIC BUILDINGS BOND QUESTION

Shall the City of Roswell, New Mexico,be authorized to issue its general obligation bonds, in one series or more, in an amount not exceeding $500,000 for the purpose of rehabilitating and remodeling municipal public buildings, including additions and improvements thereto, to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act, said bonds to be paid from general (ad valorem) taxes (except to the extent other monies are available therefor) and to bear interest and mature and to be issued upon such terms and conditions as the City Council may determine?

3. STREET BOND QUESTION

Shall the City of Roswell, New Mexico,be authorized to issue its general obligation bonds, in one series or more, in an amount not exceeding $2,000,000 for the purpose of laying off, opening, constructing, repairing and otherwise improving municipal alleys, streets and public roads, said bonds to be paid from general (ad valorem) taxes (except to the extent other monies are available therefor) and to bear interest and mature and to be issued upon such terms and conditions as the City Council may determine?

4. PUBLIC LIBRARY BOND QUESTION

Shall the City of Roswell, New Mexico,be authorized to issue its general obligation bonds, in one series or more, in an amount not exceeding $3,207,000 for the purpose of constructing, rehabilitating and remodeling the Roswell Public Library (a public building), including additions and improvements thereto, said bonds to be paid from general (ad valorem) taxes (except to the extent other monies are available therefor) and to bear interest and mature and to be issued upon such terms and conditions as the City Council may determine?

5. CITY GARAGE IMPROVEMENT BOND QUESTION

Shall the City of Roswell, New Mexico,be authorized to issue its general obligation bonds, in one series or more, in an amount not exceeding $850,000 for the purpose of rehabilitating and remodeling the old Armory to be used as a consolidated City garage (a public building) located on West Second (the old Armory), including additions and improvements thereto, said bonds to be paid from general (ad valorem) taxes (except to the extent other monies are available therefor) and to bear interest and mature and to be issued upon such terms and conditions as the City Council may determine?

6. PUBLIC PARKS BOND QUESTION

Shall the City of Roswell, New Mexico,be authorized to issue its general obligation bonds, in one series or more, in an amount not exceeding $1,900,000 for the purpose of building, beautifying and improving public parks within the City boundary, said bonds to be paid from general (ad valorem) taxes (except to the extent other monies are available therefor) and to bear interest and mature and to be issued upon such terms and conditions as the City Council may determine?

7. FAMILY AQUATIC CENTER BOND QUESTION

Shall the City of Roswell, New Mexico,be authorized to issue its general obligation bonds, in one series or more, in an amount not exceeding $3,982,000 for the purpose of building, beautifying and improving a family aquatic center (part of a public part) to be located at Cielo Grande Recreation Area (the old municipal airport), said bonds to be paid from general (ad valorem) taxes (except to the extent other monies are available therefor) and to bear interest and mature and to be issued upon such terms and conditions as the City Council may determine?

8. MUSEUM IMPROVEMENT BOND QUESTION

Shall the City of Roswell, New Mexico,be authorized to issue its general obligation bonds, in one series or more, in an amount not exceeding $200,000 for the purpose of rehabilitating and remodeling the Roswell Museum and Art Center (a public building), including additions and improvements to the south entrance thereto, said bonds to be paid from general (ad valorem) taxes (except to the extent other monies are available therefor) and to bear interest and mature and to be issued upon such terms and conditions as the City Council may determine?

9. FIRE STATIONS BOND QUESTION

Shall the City of Roswell, New Mexico,be authorized to issue its general obligation bonds, in one series or more, in an amount not exceeding $2,450,000 for the purpose of constructing, purchasing, rehabilitating or remodeling, or any combination thereof, municipal fire stations (public buildings), including additions and improvements thereto, said bonds to be paid from general (ad valorem) taxes (except to the extent other monies are available therefor) and to bear interest and mature and to be issued upon such terms and conditions as the City Council may determine?

10. POLICE STATION BOND QUESTION

Shall the City of Roswell, New Mexico,be authorized to issue its general obligation bonds, in one series or more, in an amount not exceeding $150,000 for the purpose of rehabilitating or remodeling, or any combination thereof, the municipal police station (a public building), including improvements thereto, said bonds to be paid from general (ad valorem) taxes (except to the extent other monies are available therefor) and to bear interest and mature and to be issued upon such terms and conditions as the City Council may determine?
